- Nurseries, reception classes, childminders, after-school clubs, holiday programmes and any setting registered with Ofsted that requires paediatric first aid cover. Also suitable for nannies, au pairs and foster carers who want the full qualification rather than a shorter awareness course.

Every nursery, reception class and childcare setting in England has a legal obligation to have qualified paediatric first aiders on site. But beyond the compliance requirement, this course exists because children's emergencies are different - and the people caring for them deserve training that reflects that.

The blended route means delegates complete the theory online in their own time - flexible, accessible and no disruption to your setting. Then we come to you for the practical day. Hands-on, scenario-based and built around the real situations your staff will actually face.
And because our lead trainer Cleo works clinically as an NHS Physician Associate, when someone asks a question that goes beyond the syllabus - about a specific child's condition, about what actually happens in real life, about when to call 999 and what to say - they get a real clinical answer.
