The Ripple Foundation CIC
A ripple starts small. It doesn't stay that way.
The Ripple Foundation CIC exists for one reason: to make sure that life-saving knowledge reaches everyone - not just those whose schools or employers can afford to pay for it. We deliver free, hands-on first aid and safety education to children and families across Cheshire's most disadvantaged communities. Because knowing what to do in an emergency shouldn't be a privilege.
How it works
How we fund our community work
The Foundation isn't a separate ask for a separate cause — it's what your booking already does, made visible.
The Ripple Foundation is structured as its own Community Interest Company, separate from Ripple Training's commercial operations - connected, but not owned. Its work is funded through bookings made with Ripple Training, alongside grants and corporate partnerships as they're secured.
Every workplace, school or family course booked through Ripple Training sets aside part of its fee for the Foundation.
The Foundation uses that pool to deliver free sessions in schools in deprived areas, children's centres, women's refuges and community groups across Cheshire who couldn't otherwise access this training.
Every contribution is used solely for community delivery - we're committed to transparent reporting on how funds are used and who benefits as the Foundation grows.

Where we deliver
Who we work with
We deliver in the places where the need is greatest and the budget is smallest.
Primary schools in deprived communities
Where children as young as four learn to call 999, help a choking sibling, or put someone in the recovery position. Knowledge that goes home with them.
Children's centres and family hubs
Where parents and carers learn the skills to keep their children safe, often for the first time.
Women's refuges
Where families in some of the most vulnerable circumstances gain practical knowledge that stays with them long after they leave.
Community centres
Where adults who have never had access to formal safety education get the same standard of training as any corporate team.

Book training with Ripple Training
Every course booked through Ripple Training helps fund a free place for someone who needs it. It costs you nothing extra, and means your training does double the good.
Sponsor a free place directly
Fund a specific school, community group or family's training outright. Get in touch and we'll tell you exactly where it's needed, and send you a full impact update afterwards.
Corporate partnership
Partner with us as part of your CSR commitment. We'll provide regular impact updates and public recognition, and the knowledge that your organisation is actively making Cheshire safer. Get in touch to discuss what a partnership could look like.

For funders and grant-making bodies
The Ripple Foundation CIC is structured as an independent Community Interest Company - a legal form built for exactly this purpose. It is separate from Ripple Training's commercial operations, not a subsidiary or trading division, and by law a CIC's funds can only ever be used for community benefit, never distributed as profit.
Our income is intended to come from two sources: a share of every commercial booking made through Ripple Training, and grant or partnership funding as those relationships develop.
We're committed to full transparency as the Foundation grows, including publishing our required annual filings once registered. If you're a funder or grant-making body interested in our model, mission or plans, we'd love to hear from you.
